A man reached 70 years of age and was affected by a disease which made him unable to urinate. The doctors told him that he needs an operation to cure the disease. He agreed to do the operation as the problem was giving him severe pain for days. When the operation was completed the doctor gave him a bill which covered all the costs. After looking at the bill, the man started crying. Upon seeing this, the doctor said “If the cost is too high then we could make some other arrangements for you.” The old man replied, “I am not crying because of the money but I am crying because GOD let me urinate for 70 years and He never sent me a bill!”
We rarely thank GOD for these things which are indeed great favours. Let us ask GOD to grant us the ability to recognize His bounties and thank Him often.
And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the blessings of GOD, never will you be able to count them, they are more than the sand in the ocean

NAKED TRUTH

*Strange things we do in Africa in the name of “It’s Our Culture*

*1. We care more for the dead than we do for the living!*

*2. We spend more to bury a person than we do to save their life.*

*3. We will not travel to go see a sick relative but will travel to bury him /her*

*4. People will rarely respect you while alive but will want to “pay their last respects” to your casket.*

*5. A person may NEVER receive roses in their entire life but they will get lots dumped on their graveyard!*

*6. We will spend a night at a neighbour’s funeral and it will be our first time to see the inside of their house!*

*7. No one gives a damn to know your village until you die and they will all fill car after car to “escort” your corpse*

*8. We will take the dead to the mosque/temple/church knowing fully well they had nothing to do with worship while alive.*

*9. We might not have granite tops in our kitchens but use the granite in the graveyard!*

*10. An entire village might not have a single house with cement floors but the only place with cement will be a graveyard!*

*It is proposed we have “Cultural Reforms”. We have a culture of “hypocrisy”
… a culture that is “Pro-death” and NOT “Pro-life!”*
*We need to value life BEFORE death.*
*Best person ever who came to my heart left with scars but l will never forget that touch* Please love me while I am alive, show me your kindness now that I need it, your presence at my funeral will never make up for your absence when I have the greatest need of you. Do it now than regret later.

*This got me thinking

For this coming new year I am not wishing anybody anything:
– If you want health, see the Doctor;
– If you want money, go to work;
– If you want a lover, be honest and sincere in your relationships;
– If you want success, be patient and perseverant;
– If you want happiness, make your neighbours happy.
Please I am sorry my friends, excuse me. Let each and everyone be responsible in 2018.

Make a password into a goal of yours so you constantly
have to be reminded of it.

Once upon a time there lived a king. Whenever any of his servants would do something to displease him, he would feed them to a pack of wild dogs that he kept in a special cage. Now this king had a servant who had served his master loyally for 10 years. One day this servant did something to displease the king, so the king ordered that he be fed to the wild dogs.

“I served you for ten years and this is what I get in return? Please, give me ten days respite, then feed me to the dogs,” the servant begged the king. The king agreed. The servant then went to the keeper of the wild dogs and asked if he could help him take care of the dogs for the next ten days. The keeper was baffled, but agreed.

So for the next ten days, the servant served the dogs. He fed them, bathed them and played with them. He took them out for exercise, stroked them and spoke kind words to them.

When the ten days were up, the king arrived to witness his servant being thrown to the dogs. But when the servant was thrown into the cage, something unexpected happened…

The dogs did not eat the servant as expected. Instead, they embraced him and loved him. The King was puzzled, and asked his servant what was going on?

The servant replied: My Lord, I have been nice to these dogs for only 10 days, and they did not eat me. I have been loyal to you for 10 years, but you fed me to the dogs…

A boy said to his father
“I saw a girl and I want to marry her. She is so beautiful and she has gorgeous eyes.”
The father answered his son
“Of course son, let’s ask for her hand in marriage.”
When the father saw the girl, he admired
her beauty and he told his son, “You don’t deserve this girl, she needs someone who has experience in life and she can depend on, someone like me.”
The boy was surprised by the attitude of his father and he told him,
“She will marry me, not you.”
They started to fight and finally they decided both to go to the police station to solve their problem.
When they told their story to the police officer, he told them:
“Bring the girl so we can ask her about her opinion about this.” When the officer saw the beauty of the girl he said to the boy and his father,
“You both don’t deserve her, she needs someone who has prestige like me.”
The 3 men started a fight and
decided to go to the minister to solve their problem.
When the minister saw the girl, he said,
“She deserves to be married to a minister like me.”
The prince heard about their problem and called them all to
help them solve it but when he saw the girl he said,
“This girl will marry me.”
All the 5 men started
to fight.
Finally, the girl said,
“I have the solution! I will start to run and whoever catches me first, he will be my husband.”
When she started to run, the boy,
his father, the police officer,
the minister and the prince started to run to catch her.
Suddenly the 5 men fell into a
deep hole.
The girl looked to them from the top and she said
“Did you know Who am I? I am the Temporal World!!!
People want to run to catch me, they are racing to have me.
By doing that, they forget their God,
until they end up in their grave and won’t have me….”
Moral lesson!!!
Don’t forget God because he
didn’t forget to wake you up
today.
