Time wasted

The time that I’ve wasted is my biggest regret. Spent in these places, I will never forget. Just sitting and thinking, about the things that I’ve done. The crying, the laughing, the hurt, and the fun.
Now it’s just me, and my hard driven guilt. Behind a wall of emptiness, I allowed to be built. I am trapped in my body, just wanting to run. Back to my youth, with its laughter and fun.
But the Chase is over, and there’s no place to hide. Everything is gone, including my pride. With reality suddenly right in my face, I’m scared, alone, and stuck in this place.
Now memories of the past, flashed through my head. And the pain is obvious, by the tears that I shed. I ask myself why, and where I went wrong. I guess I was weak, when I should have been strong.
living for the things, and the wings I had grown. My feelings were lost, afraid to be shown. As I look at my past, it’s so easy to see. The fear that I had, afraid to be me.
I pretended to be rugged, so fast and so cool. When actually lost, like a blinded old fool. I’m getting too old, for this tiresome game. Of acting real hard, with no sense of shame. It’s time that I change, and get on with my life. Fulfilling my dreams, for a family and wife.
What my future will hold, I really don’t know. But the years that I’ve wasted, are starting to show. I just live for the day, when I’ll get a new start. And the dream I still, hold deep in my heart. I hope I can make it, I at least have to try. Because I’m heading towards death, and I don’t want to die…

Don’t Look Back

As you travel through life there are always those times
when decisions just have to be made,
when the choices are hard and solutions seem scarce
and the rain seems to soak your parade!

There are some situations where all you can
do is to simply let go and move on,
gather courage together and choose a direction
that carries you toward a new dawn.

So pack up your troubles and take a step forward.
The process of change can be tough.
But think about all the excitement ahead,
if you can be stalwart enough!

There could be adventures you never imagined
just waiting around the next bend
and wishes and dreams just about to come true
in ways you can’t yet comprehend!

Perhaps you’ll find friendships that spring from new interests,
as you challenge your status quo
and learn there are so many options in life,
and so many ways you can grow!

Perhaps you’ll go places you never expected
and see things that you’ve never seen,
or travel to fabulous, faraway worlds and
wonderful spots in between!

Perhaps you’ll find warmth, affection and caring,
a “somebody special” who’s there
to help you stay centered and listen with interest
to stories and feelings you share.

Perhaps you’ll find comfort in knowing your friends
are supportive of all that you do
and believe that whatever decisions you make,
they’ll be the right choices for you!

So keep putting one foot in front of the other
and taking your life day by day.
There’s a brighter tomorrow that’s just down the road.
Don’t look back, you’re not going that way!

Be with someone who can value your worth because you’re more than worth it.

It’s never easy to “live the life that you always wanted.” Because not all of us are gifted with same amount of strength that everybody else has. Not all of us are gifted with these ideals. Each of us carry a vast garden and we take care of it differently, we grow differently. We don’t deal with the same storm everyday but one thing is for sure, everyone’s trying.

Instead of planting flowers to someone else’s pot, choose your own progress. You make difference. You don’t stand there next to sunflower and compare it your thorns. You are different but that doesn’t mean you’re not valid. Time will come and you’ll grow just like the others but on your own season and time. You have to trust the process. You grow on your own and if something doesn’t feel right, heal, and remember that healing comes with storms, and so growth too.

Plant on your own.
It’s okay to struggle.

one simple conversation could really fix so many problems by listening to each other and being honest but people always think you’re trying to argue instead of trying to communicate

Stop waiting for things to happen.
Go out and make them happen.
