Believing in people will often bring out of the best in them. Distrusting others may discourage them and bring out of the worst. If parents tell their children, “You’re not good,” their children might believe it and act terribly. If parents tell their children, “You’re good. You are intelligent. You can accomplish great things,” their children will probably believe it and make their parents proud. Love bears all things, hopes all things.
